The challenge
Critical infrastructure operators monitor large numbers of assets and sensors, often at remote sites with limited terrestrial communications. Other sites require an independent, non-cellular backup path during local or regional disruption.
- Remote assets need connectivity beyond terrestrial networks.
- Critical sites need an independent communications path.
- Operators require continuous visibility across fixed and moving assets.
- Large deployments need managed access for many simultaneous endpoints.
The HiSKY solution
HiSKY provides a private Ka/Ku-band GEO satellite network for fixed sensors and moving fleet assets. It can serve as a primary link or a backup to terrestrial communications. Optional dual-mode operation uses an external LTE router, with automatic switching between cellular and satellite connectivity.
- SLA-based network access for critical operations.
- One managed network for fixed sensors and mobile assets.
- Core HUB equipment hosted in international teleports.
- Satellite voice available alongside ongoing data transmissions.
What the solution enables
Availability
Reduced asset downtime through independent satellite connectivity.
Monitoring
Remote management and control of critical assets 24/7/365.
Resilience
Primary remote connectivity or non-cellular backup.
Fleet
One network for fixed sensors and mobile company assets.
