Sales Director –
Military & Defense Sector, Israel

About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Director who can bring significant orders in Israel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the defence industry, ideally with proven experience selling to leading defence companies such as Rafael, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Elbit or similar organizations, and/or directly to the IDF and or IMOD. This role focuses on leading sales activities and bringing orders for the company’s satellite communication solutions designed for military platforms, which are developed and delivered in close collaboration with defence integrators and prime contractors. The role requires the ability to translate complex technical, operational, and market information into a clear, disciplined sales work plan, while operating in environments of long sales cycles, high uncertainty, and strict regulatory and security constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • To close significant multi-million dollar orders
  • Lead sales activities for satellite communication solutions integrated into military platforms (land, air, and maritime)
  • Work closely with defence integrators and prime contractors responsible for platform development and delivery
  • Collect and analyze customer, market, and program-level data to build realistic, executable sales plans
  • Manage complex, long-term sales processes aligned with defence procurement frameworks
  • Assess and manage commercial, operational, and program risks throughout the sales cycle
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with IDF, IMOD and defence integrator stakeholders
  • Lead proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and negotiations in coordination with engineering, product, and delivery teams
  • Maintain accurate, data-driven forecasting and reporting

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the Israeli or international defence industry
  • Proven experience working with defence integrators / prime contractors such as Elbit, Rafael, IAI or equivalent or IMOD.
  • Strong understanding of defence procurement, program structures, and compliance requirements
  • Fluent Hebrew and English
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, if required
