Solutions

## One Architecture. Air, Land and Sea.

Missions don't stop where radio, cellular and fibre coverage ends. Drones fly past the horizon, ground forces move through rugged terrain, and vessels sail far beyond coastal range. Each needs command, video and voice that stay up the whole way.

## One network. Every domain.

HiSKY is one private, sovereign satellite communications (SATCOM) network: Terminal, Hub and NMS, all built in-house. The architecture stays the same across air, land and sea. Only the terminal changes, sized to the platform you're running.

## Air - Connected beyond line of sight.

Line-of-sight (LOS) radio limits how far your UAVs can fly. Conventional airborne satellite terminals are often too big, too heavy and too power-hungry for tactical platforms. HiSKY puts a compact Ku/Ka-band terminal with low SWaP (size, weight and power) directly into the aircraft. This gives you secure Beyond-Line-of-Sight (BLOS) command and control, telemetry and mission data through every phase of flight.

### Swarm Operations

Run many UAVs as one network. Your whole swarm shares one satellite resource for command and control and for telemetry. When a platform needs to send imagery or live video, the NMS gives it a dedicated channel for as long as it needs one. Then it returns the platform to the shared pool automatically. You manage the swarm from one place, bandwidth follows the mission, and your satellite capacity goes much further.

**Also in the air:** loitering munitions and precision strike platforms, ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) drones, and long-range manned systems.

## Land - Connected where networks end.

Rugged terrain breaks radio links. Long frontiers outrun fixed infrastructure. Forces go dark the moment they move or dismount. HiSKY turns any vehicle into a mobile communications node, and one satellite channel carries voice, video and IP to wherever your forces are.

### Communications Bubble for Special Ground Forces

A compact terminal on the vehicle roof creates a self-contained, satellite-fed WiFi bubble around the team. It carries voice, messaging and data when the vehicle is parked, on the move, or after the team has dismounted and walked away. Your existing tactical radios run over the satellite link unchanged, with no rip-and-replace. Low probability of intercept and detection (LPI/LPD) and GPS-independent operation keep the link hard to find and hard to jam.

### Autonomous and Unmanned Ground Vehicles

Autonomous vehicles and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) need a link that doesn't depend on cellular coverage or line of sight. A low-SWaP HiSKY terminal gives each vehicle persistent BLOS connectivity for remote control, telemetry and video. Every vehicle stays visible and controllable from HQ, however far it goes.

**Also on land:** border security, forward operating bases, and security for energy corridors and pipelines.

## Sea - Connected far from shore.

VHF/UHF radio and coastal cellular fade within tens of kilometres of shore. Conventional stabilised-dome terminals are costly to install and maintain in salt air. HiSKY's compact, IP67-sealed terminal is built to live on open decks and masts. It keeps voice, video and IP running while the vessel is under way, manoeuvring or at anchor.

### Fleet and Navy

Give every patrol craft, offshore patrol vessel (OPV) and command ship a sovereign link back to shore HQ. One channel switches between mission modes: naval radio relay, ISR video backhaul, and IP/WiFi for the bridge and crew. With the NMS, your whole fleet is visible from shore on a network you own, with no third-party routing. Standardise one terminal across your fleet to simplify spares, training and support.

**Also at sea:** coast guard and sea security, offshore energy platforms, commercial shipping, fishing fleets, and special-mission vessels.

Frequently asked questions

## One network. Every domain.

### General

#### What makes HiSKY different from other satellite communications providers?

HiSKY designs and builds the whole system in-house: Terminal, Hub and NMS (Space Control). You get a private, sovereign satellite network, not a share of someone else's. Your traffic runs only through your own gateways, with no third-party routing. The same architecture serves air, land and sea platforms.

### Air

#### Can a satellite terminal really fit inside a loitering munition or small UAV?

Yes. HiSKY's card-level terminals are built for strict SWaP (size, weight and power) limits, so they fit inside loitering munitions, tactical drones and other small airborne platforms. Your operators stay in control Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS), from launch to the end of the mission.

#### How does HiSKY support UAV swarm operations?

Your whole swarm shares one satellite resource for command and control and for telemetry. When a platform needs to send imagery or live video, the NMS gives it a dedicated channel. When it's done, the platform goes back to the shared pool automatically. You manage the swarm from one place and use far less satellite capacity.

#### Is the link secure against jamming and detection?

HiSKY links are designed for low probability of intercept and detection (LPI/LPD), which makes them hard to find, track or jam. The terminals also work without GPS, so the link stays up where navigation signals are jammed or denied.

### Land

#### How do ground forces stay connected when they move or dismount?

A compact terminal mounted on the vehicle roof creates a satellite-fed communications bubble around the team. Voice, messaging and data work when the vehicle is parked, on the move (COTM, communications on the move), and after the team has dismounted and walked away from it.

#### Do we need to replace our existing tactical radios?

No. HiSKY carries your existing tactical radio networks transparently over the satellite link, so the equipment you already use keeps working and simply gains BLOS range.

#### Can HiSKY connect autonomous or unmanned ground vehicles?

Yes. A low-SWaP HiSKY terminal gives autonomous vehicles and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) persistent BLOS connectivity for remote control, telemetry and video. It works well beyond cellular coverage and radio line of sight.

### Sea

#### How does HiSKY keep vessels connected beyond coastal range?

VHF/UHF radio and coastal cellular fade within tens of kilometres of shore. HiSKY carries voice, video and IP over satellite, so your vessels stay connected to shore HQ while under way, manoeuvring or at anchor.

#### Is the terminal built for harsh saline environments?

Yes. The sea terminal is IP67-sealed against salt spray, wave wash and humidity, so it can stay permanently installed on open decks and masts. Its compact, low-profile build suits small patrol craft as well as larger ships and offshore platforms.

#### Can a navy manage its entire fleet on one network?

Yes. One satellite channel can switch between naval radio relay, ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) video and crew/IP services. The NMS lets you see and control every vessel from shore on a sovereign network you own. You can use one terminal type across your whole fleet, which keeps spares, training and support simple.
